OUR FIGHT AT THE 2025 TEXAS LEGISLATURE
We are actively advocating at the 89th Texas Legislature by engaging students in the legislative process, supporting progressive policies, and holding lawmakers accountable. Through lobbying efforts, organizing advocacy campaigns, and mobilizing students to testify, contact representatives, and attend rallies, The University Democrats are ensuring student voices are heard at the Capitol.

ACTIVISM

LEADERSHIP
UDems allows any member to become a leader on campus. With opportunities to intern, speak with elected officials, and help educate peers about civic engagement, UDems members learn key professional skills.
SOCIAL
We're more than just a political organization, we're a family. In UDems, members have the opportunity to participate in socials and service events. You can find lifelong friends and meet someone new every meeting.
CIVIC OUTREACH
We empower students with knowledge about civic issues and elections, helping them register, vote, and get involved. Each cycle, we support our endorsed candidates and causes through poll greeting, lit dropping, phone banking, and more—ensuring students help elect progressive leaders and drive change.
